Considered to be the "stone of fidelity," whether to another person or to a purpose in life, jade is said to encourage serenity, inspire wisdom, and prolong life. Defined by its intricate circular markings resembling animal skin, leaopardskin jasper is known as the "supreme nurturer" and often worn by shaman to provide protection and balance.
